Junior Research Technician (ATX25-02)

Missions

• Carry out experiments by following protocols of in vitro models on cell lines and primary cultures
• Work as a team and coordinate with collaborators on experiments and use of equipment
• Make accurate records of experiments in laboratory notebooks
• Participate in the elaboration of protocols
• Plan the assays and prepare reagents and consumables needed for experiments
• Analyze basic data, summarize results
• Report on the progress of experiments, experimental results, and take an active part in project progress meetings
• Ensure the reliability, quality and traceability of experimental results
• Participate in the laboratory management:
✓ Monitor common stock and laboratory supply and request supplies when necessary
✓ Participate to lab logistics
• Comply with laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment

Personal skills

• Ability to identify and solve technical issues
• Thoroughness, organizational skills, team spirit
• Computer skills : Office suite, software for analysis and layout
• Ability to communicate (team meeting, group meeting)
• Ability to read/speak scientific English

Professional experience

• <1 year with technical experience in a laboratory setting
• Familiar with standard techniques in Cell Biology
• +2/3 years university degree or equivalent in cell biology or biotechnology.
